5th Annual Dream Gala - Friday, April 25th, 2014
This year, The Anhelo Project awarded $12,000 in scholarships to six undergraduate students, which will bring the total amount of scholarships awarded to $52,000 in four years. We celebrated our 5th year of success and were excited to have with us master of ceremonies Maria Hinojosa, award winning journalist and executive producer of Latino USA on National Public Radio, a show devoted to Latino issues.
The evening’s program included the annual scholarship awards ceremony, silent auction, three hours of open bar and hors d’oeuvres, performances by Jarochicanos, Carpacho y su Super Combo, Mariachi Luis Alfredo, and DJ Tapia.
